Just a note to remind you that the BBC Radio Nottingham Groundswell programme on students and the community is taking place this Thursday evening (1 February) at 7.00 p.m. at the Boundary Road Reform Methodist Church on Boundary Road, Beeston. I don't think it's too late to say you're coming along.

Also, BBC Radio 4's 'Today' programme have been interviewing residents and councillors, etc. today, with a view to broadcasting something on the Thursday 'Today' programme to coincide with the University Towns and Cities Councillors conference and the National HMO Lobby meeting. (However, there is no guarantee that anything will be broadcast since other 'news' may well come up and take precedent ... we can only do our job and then hope.)
I've been asked along to Radio Notingham tomorrow morning to take part in their Breakfast Show on the theme of what's happened/changed over the last three years. I'm supposed to be there around 8 a.m. so any time between then and 9 a.m. Wish me luck!

Finally, there are around 15 delegates coming to the National HMO Lobby meeting on Thursday at the Council House from as far afield as Southampton and Canterbury. Also, I am told that there will be around 30 delegates from across the country attending the University Towns and Cities Councillors conference.

Finally, finally ... many thanks to those of you who contributed to my audio diary for the Groundswell programme. I've asked the BBC if they will let me have a CD of what I recorded.
