'A New Strategy for Studentification'

They will be emphasizing the value of area-based neighbourhood strategies
in the light of the increasing complexity and diversity of
studentification. They will also be seeking the views of residents about
their experiences of studentification in their neighbourhoods, the
benefits and disbenefits of studentification, the effectiveness of present
strategies and actions - as outlined in 'Nottingham's Student Housing
Action Plan' (SHAP) - in dealing with the problems, and ways in which
residents think those strategies and actions can be improved.

It is hoped that this will feed into the revision of 'Nottingham's Student
Housing Action Plan' that is currently under way and for which Darren and
Jo are doing the background research.
