University Towns And Cities Lobby

Nottingham City Council is hosting a one-day conference for ward councillors from university towns and cities across the country. It is hoped that this meeting will lead to a national councillors lobby. At the last count some thirty councillors representing wards from across the country have indicated that they will be attending the conference. There are also signs that MPs with constituencies in university towns and cities are also forming their own all-party Parliamentary Balanced Communities Lobby group. We can hope that this means that the National HMO Lobby will have two partner organizations to help achieve the changes we need in order to improve the conditions in our neighbourhoods.
