Wed 27th Jun 2007--Nottingham
At mid-day on the 10th of May we heard on the radio that the PM will be resigning on the 27th of June, so it comes as no surprise to learn that Baroness Andrews has postponed her visit to us due to parliamentary pressure.
We gather she (or her replacement) has now said she will come some time in July/August. However, representatives from Nottingham will still be visiting civil servants in London on 18th of June. And we are still hope that the council can be persuaded to accept NAG representation on that occasion.
Last year Baroness Andrews was invited to come to Nottingham and see for herself what is happening in our studentified neighbourhoods.
She accepted that invitation and arrangements had been made for her to be in Nottingham on Tuesday, 27 March, 2007.
Just as arrangements were being finalised we heard from her office that she is unable to come because of pressure of Parliamentary work.
Which neighbourhoods do you think the Baroness should visit? If you were able to meet her, what would you want to tell her about?
Please got to the contact page and let us know.
