Although it had not been possible for a representative of the NAG to attend the UUK Report launch in January, an invitation was received from UUK to attend the Parliamentary launch of the report at a breakfast seminar in Westminster on 21 June, 2006. Nottingham City Council kindly provided rail tickets and arranged overnight accommodation in London which enabled the Co-ordinator to take part in the event. A meeting of the Group was held on the 21 June, 2006 to give Group members an opportunity to go through the main findings of the UUK Report and make comments and give suggestions which the Co-ordinator could then take to the seminar.
